Audio controls, steadier character scale, and encounter replay polish
What changed
Added an accessible Sound On / Off mute button on the title screen and title Settings page (44×44 px minimum touch target), synchronized the in-game HUD Audio On / Off toggle and Pause Settings audio panel via live state subscription, and preserved persistent localStorage mute and Pause Settings channel-volume preferences across reloads.
Refined character and portrait scale, mobile route-ribbon frame inset, battle framing, Turn 2+ Read the last exchange spacing, and short-landscape statement Post-it scroll padding so speakers, portraits, and command Post-its stay legible without clipping.
Scoped impact-history state cleanly per encounter lifecycle, preserved genuine UI save and Continue recovery, and hardened post-credits Replay into a fresh loop through the Kiki encounter with full control recovery.
Updated this public changelog through the Site 107 → Site 108 transition while preserving all live Site 107 copy and retired-route protections.
What stayed the same
The 12-encounter, 19-stop three-ascent demo route, 32-character homepage showcase, approved canon WebP rasters, and packaged soundtrack cues remain unchanged.
Verification and known limits
Verified
Prepared over verified live Site 107 (bd9da5882bac7e1d5ab54f411e4299af161993fc); publication status and hosted readback are recorded separately by the Sites deployment receipt rather than by build-time files.
Completed local end-to-end normal-difficulty run across all 19 scenes, 12 encounters, three ascents, and credits, plus genuine UI save/Continue recovery and independent ending → credits → Replay → new loop → Kiki control recovery.
Guarded V73 runtime build, TypeScript, game unit suites, all 12 site/worker contract suites (77 tests), and un-intercepted built-Worker Chromium checks across phone portrait, short landscape, and desktop viewports.
Still in development / scope
Automated audio-control checks verify state, persistence, media attributes, and Web Audio graph wiring; they do not substitute for human acoustic listening on physical speakers or headphones.
Phone and short-landscape layouts remain under active refinement (such as scrolling inside compact statement/action regions); physical-device touch hardware, assistive screen readers, and universal 60/90 fps performance are not certified.
Full 32-character 33-frame battle animation kits and remaining second-loop and third-loop soundtrack mixes remain in development.

What stayed the same
Every non-entry game bundle, gameplay rule, route stop, artwork raster, and audio file remained byte-for-byte identical to Site 106.

Still in development / scope
Identifier-only update; mobile audio controls, character scale refinements, and replay fixes were deferred to V73.

Three-trip demo route, instant reply handback, and Let go
What changed
Focused the playable demo route to 19 stop visits and 12 social battles across three ascents from NDG to the Kondiaronk lookout, keeping an all-animated battle cast.
Replies return immediately when an exchange performance finishes, with Read the last exchange keeping the previous exchange available.
Renamed the fourth reply label to Let go across battle commands, receipts, tutorial prompts, and homepage copy.
Restored keyboard focus to the previously focused reply when a brief sprite-readiness lock clears, and sized the desktop top battle statement note so a full line fits without shifting.
Updated the eased battle camera to land cleanly on the neutral resting matrix and set explicit revalidation headers on canonical WebP responses.
What stayed the same
Soundtrack recordings, 32-character homepage showcase, save compatibility, and core Drama Engine rules remain unchanged.

Pinch-zoom, clearer small text, and a steadier battle screen
What changed
Game build V60. You can now pinch to zoom in the game on phones and tablets; the game no longer blocks it.
Clearer small text: the casebook page number, the outline of the battle hearts, a gold link on the homepage and the top line of the phone homepage now meet the 4.5:1 contrast guideline. The route summary on the homepage now announces its label to screen readers.
Final Designs now shows the approved character cards for Highland Her and Second Hand Slayer. The neighbours gallery keeps its current figures.
Thirteen large images are now stored as lossless WebP. They are pixel-for-pixel identical and about 6.8 MB lighter, and every old image link still works.
At Large and Largest text on small landscape phones, the battle toolbar now fits: the turn counter stacks over its number at the same size, so Walk away no longer runs into the opponent’s card.
Leaving a battle can no longer strand you on an empty battle screen with no buttons. The game always returns to the walk.
Carried from the unpublished V56–V58 candidates: replies dock on the paper strip, fighters keep a clear gap, paper motion blur is available and off by default, and the parallax seam at the frame edge is fixed.
Homepage: the soundtrack player moves to the top, with a short guide to which cue plays where. The story now opens with the asteroid that meant to land on the Plateau and landed in NDG.
Homepage: the Drama Engine uses the game’s current replies (Hold firm, Use facts, Ask clearly, Drop guilt) and pressures, and explains Earth, Fire, Wind and Water as each reply’s look rather than a hidden damage chart.
What stayed the same
Soundtrack recordings, costumes, the neighbours gallery, saves, combat outcomes and authored story are unchanged. The only new public artwork is the two approved character cards.
Verification and known limits
Verified
Results for this exact build are recorded in the V60 release receipt: game unit suites, layout and exchange checks across phone, tablet and desktop sizes with touch, reduced motion and larger text, pinch-zoom, measured text contrast, battle lifecycle checks, the soundtrack player and the homepage.
Still in development / scope
Other new character, place and battle artwork waits for approval before it appears here.
Second-loop and remaining third-loop soundtrack mixes are still awaiting web delivery.
Phone performance and screen-reader use on real devices have not been certified.

Receiver feedback and a public release history
What changed
Added this public changelog, linked from the homepage and game menu. The verified Site 100 → 101 entry stays available. Future publications append their own version transition.
Resolved positive-damage exchanges request a fresh hit-and-recovery sequence where an existing runtime strip is available, including repeated hits and stronger finishing outcomes.
If a paper route or landing fails, resolved receiver feedback can still run without claiming that the card arrived. Jules’s bounded volley path continues to the remaining resolved receiver.
Hidden-page, freeze and pagehide cancellation rearms for each new exchange. Stall handling cancels the presentation before unlocking replies.
Lily’s provisional ready raster gets a disclosed brief recoil; reduced motion uses a short opacity response. This is presentation feedback, not a new authored animation strip.
What stayed the same
Approved art, soundtrack, costumes, gallery selections, combat outcomes and authored story remain unchanged.
Verification and known limits
Verified
68 focused receiver/reading tests and game TypeScript checks; 16 landing tests.
Normal and reduced-motion opening encounters verified decoded receiver feedback; full journey recorded 293 distinct committed receiver receipts.
Local emitted Worker: 2633 unique payload hashes,7931 alias routes,7 HEAD/Range samples and10 changelog/browser checks. Hosted publication checks are retained in the release receipt.
Still in development / scope
Full elemental-energy and physical-statement volleyball choreography remains in development.
Feedback uses available runtime strips; missing, provisional or excluded art is not promoted to a complete battle kit.
Kiki R1–R4, DIAG-B and the three-pose processing trial remain outside this game release. Jessica replacement art remains pending.
No every-action/all-difficulty, physical-device backgrounding or universal frame-rate certification.
Larger fighter framing, expanded action-camera shots, all-character opponent-facing kits and the requested Lily redesign are separate work; this publication does not claim them completed.
